Working on behalf of TEDCO Meridian Venture delivered an intensive procurement support project for SME’s in Northumberland

We delivered a Procurement Support project across Northumberland for Northumberland County Council providing workshops, bespoke and tailored procurement and bid management advice and support to SME's.

Providing bespoke and tailored procurement and bid management advice and support to businesses in Northumberland. Helping businesses understand the public sector supply chain, to become "bid-ready", and offer coaching with live tender documents and e-tendering systems, to help businesses understand e-tendering portals (including NEPO) and search for live contracts relevant to their business.

The successful methodology Meridian Venture adopted enabled us to manage the flow of clients and our support for them through the defined stages and, in particular, working with clients over a specific period of time.  This experience has enabled us to provide a high quality service whilst ensuring throughout the life of the project that we supported as many clients as possible.

Paramount however, was the need to ensure this methodology and the individual processes used supported an "end customer" centric view of the opportunities for growth. We recognised the need to apply a degree of flexibility to the method but the focus always remained on generating and, responding to, as many opportunities as possible.
